DIYis Eric Saline's book
don't you just love it when you find some really cool materials? In this case, I found a billboard that had shed its months of adverts, and i just knew I could use all that old paper for something. So it's been on the back of my bike, cut into bits, set on fire, sanded, painted, etc. Now it's the covers of my book.

In this case, I used it for making the cover of my sketchbook for this rotation... well, actually, maybe it's not quite fitting to call it a book at this point... the idea with my contribution is that you need to make your pages, glue/ attach them somehow to previous pages. I intend to call attention to process with this book: i can't wait to see what y'all come up with!
I just ask that the contents fit inside the covers when folded, otherwise, go nuts!
PS the little blue cloud cutout can be used by others for stencil, or collage.
I love it Eric. I'm feeling inspired already. :)
ReplyDeleteOoo, I might get my fabrics out and crank up the sewing machine for this one - nice one Eric!
